Currently, automations cannot automatically assign a user to a pay rule policy.

This action would allow you to automatically assign a pay rule policy when a trigger fires. For example, when a user's role or group changes, they could be auto-assigned the correct overtime and pay rules. This is useful for onboarding, role changes, or ensuring pay compliance when employees transfer between departments.
