Automation Trigger: Time Off Request Approved or Declined

Omer Vered
Currently, automations can trigger when a time off request is submitted, but not when it is approved or declined.
This trigger would fire when a time off request status changes to approved or declined. This is useful for notifying the requesting employee, updating external calendars, adjusting shift coverage, or syncing leave data with payroll systems.

+1 from a customer (HubSpot company 1979404) - they need this to power last-minute shift coverage flows when employees take time off, get terminated, or quit. Tracked internally alongside related tickets for a User Deactivated trigger and an Open Shift to Claim action.
