Integrating with EVV systems would enable the transfer of data on healthcare visits to such systems to ensure EVV compliance. The 21st Century Cures Act, enacted in 2016, requires using an EVV system for Medicaid-provided personal care services (PCS) and Home Health Care Services (HHCS). The Cures Act requires that EVV systems electronically capture six data elements for every PCS or HHCS service that is provided in the home: Individual/member receiving the services.
